2009 High School Essay Contest Winners

     The Pennsylvania Society for Biomedical Research is pleased to announce the winners in its eighteenth annual essay contest for high school students. A total of 482 students from 38 different schools wrote on the topic question, “Why Are Animals Used in Biomedical Research?”  Winners were selected after three rounds of judging by PSBR members and friends.
      PSBR congratulates the winners and applauds the efforts of all the students, teachers, and judges who took the time to help make this contest a great success.
 

2009 PSBR  7th and 8th Grade Essay Contest Winners

     The Pennsylvania Society for Biomedical Research is pleased to announce the winners in its fourteenth annual essay contest for 7th and 8th grade students.  A total of 292 students from 35 different schools wrote on the topic question, "What's the Point of Bioscience Research?"
     PSBR congratulates the winners and applauds the efforts of all the students, teachers, and judges who took thse time to help make this contest a great success.
